Schneider-Kreuznach welcomes new trainees

BAD KREUZNACH, August 19, 2021

On Monday, August 16, a total of nine trainees started their careers at Schneider-Kreuznach. In addition to the well-known technical training professions, such as industrial and cutting machine operator and precision optician, Schneider-Kreuznach is also training for commercial professions again after a long time.

For the new trainees, the first day began with a welcome from Managing Director Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich. He introduced the trainees to the Schneider-Kreuznach company, covering everything from the historical beginnings, the development of the company and the “highlights” to the present day with its various technical and economic challenges. After a safety briefing, the trainees were divided into separate groups to experience the company up close, so to speak, as they were also taken on a tour of the various production areas. At the end of their first day, the trainees received initial important and organizational information about their training and their various training positions.

“The start of their careers is an important step for young people. At Schneider Kreuznach, we attach great importance to qualified training and close, cross-departmental cooperation. This also applies to the various apprenticeships. After successfully completing their training, our trainees have good chances of being taken on and receive support for further qualifications,” says Managing Director Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich.

Seven trainees are completing a Schneider-Kreuznach apprenticeship, while two trainees are joining from WILBERT TowerCranes GmbH in Waldlaubersheim as part of a joint training program. A cooperation agreement was therefore concluded between Schneider-Kreuznach and WILBERT TowerCranes GmbH for joint training.

Gian Luca Ramundo and Sukhjinder Singh are starting their careers with training as precision opticians, while Fabian Smagala (WILBERT TowerCranes GmbH) and Christo Zeller are learning the trade of industrial mechanic. Timothy Blegen and Silvano Peukert (WILBERT TowerCranes GmbH) are training to become cutting machine operators. Lena Förster, Leonhard Ludwig and Lucas Schön want to learn the profession of industrial clerk and are the first to be trained in this profession for a long time.

Schneider-Kreuznach wishes all new trainees a good start and every success.

We are already looking for new applicants for training starting August 15, 2022. Further information on training at Schneider-Kreuznach can be found at https://schneiderkreuznach.com/de/unternehmen/karriere/ausbildung
