We are pleased to announce the addition of two new C-mount lenses to our TOURMALINE lens family: the TOURMALINE 2.8/20 C-LD and the TOURMALINE 2.8/20 C-SD. Optimized for long and short working distances respectively, these lenses build on the proven performance of our existing TOURMALINE series.

Delivering high-quality imaging in a lighter, more compact form

Combining the optical performance of the well acclaimed TOURMALINE 2.0/20 with the mechanical design and focusing approach of the other members of the series, both new lenses achieve comparable optical performance in a lighter, more compact form.

This design optimization also results in a cost advantage for users seeking high-quality imaging solutions in industrial and other demanding applications. Like all lenses in the TOURMALINE family, the new models cover sensor sizes up to 1.3" (24 mm) and support pixel sizes down to 2.4 µm. In addition, their low chief ray angle ensures seamless compatibility with all SONY Pregius™ generations.
